The redrawn Uncle Bob's Jungle Adventure. Many of the stories in Uncle Bob Adventures were drawn years ago and as a result, in my opinion, don't look as good as the most recent chapters. So I've felt compelled to go back and redraw these strips in order to bring the artwork up to scratch. Frustrating and time consuming, but necessary, because otherwise I would be able to look at the book when it's finally published.
Also why not check out an interview I did for Comics Reporter, which you can read here.
The redrawn version of Uncle Bob and the Phantom. There were problems with both the story and the art of the original version. It had to fit in with the rest of the stories in the book, which meant that I didn't have much option but to redraw it. Luckily it was only eight pages. Drawing never takes me long. It's the writing I find time consuming.
Kenny at Blank Slate asked me to come up with some temporary covers, just for publicity purposes, in advance of these titles being finished. I wouldn't imagine we'll settle on these images. They're just a starting point. Uncle Bob Adventures will be out in the summer. Psychiatric Tales Two will be out at the end of this year.
