Email From a Reader

Here's a very nice email I received from a reader.

"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your book. It was so encouraging to read a book from the staff's point of view. I picked it up thinking it was from a patients point of view and was I pleasantly surprised. I worked for many years in psychiatric hospitals and now I work with police officers and we go see patients in the field in response to other officers calls. Most of the time we take them to the hospital. I have shared your book with all the officers and nurses I work with. I really think the officers have gained some insight into patients behaviors and will be less judgmental and fearful. I especially think your self disclosure was meaningful as well. It was to me. I am going to get some copies of your book and share it with other teams as well. Thank you again for your wonderful book. If you ever come to Los Angeles, please let me know, if you like, and we could take you on a ride along with the police."

While you're here, you may want to check out Uncle Bob On Skull Island, which has begun its serialisation on the Act-i-vate webcomic site.
