A chapter of my Psychiatric Tales book. This one covering Bipolar-Disorder. As ever, if you spot any mistakes let me know. Feedback from those with this illness would be greatly appreciated. I've mostly covered the mania side of the illness here, because a previous chapter already talks about depression, and I didn't want to repeat myself. Thank you.

Self-Harming

I've touched on self-harming in earlier chapters of this little book I'm writing, but I felt I hadn't covered the subject in enough detail, so here is more. The amount of reference on this subject around the internet is so vast that you never seem to be able to get to the bottom of it. It's a hugely complex area and I'm well aware that I've not really covered it in anything but sketchy detail. I could easily fill a book on this subject alone. However, these are just a few of my personal thoughts and insights I've had over the years working with this client group, and as such, I think they're helpful and valid.

People With Mental Illness Enhance Our Lives

The latest chapter of my Psychiatric Tales book. Thirteen pages which nearly killed me. There's still some fiddling to do with the artwork here, but it's basically done. If you see any mistakes let me know. This chapter is a one-off, as it's a mixture of photos and artwork, which I think suite the subject. I don't intend to do further chapters in this style.

I'm extremely busy. I'm currently drawing new pages of Psychiatric Tales, continuing to draw my Activate webcomic The Streets Of San Diablo, and I'm also doing agency care work two or three days a week.
